Who Is Nathan One?
Nathan One is best known for Cbeyond IPO, Airband turnaround, and Alpheus pivot resulting in a nearly 4x increase in value in under 5 years. Further, Nathan has led several movements to redefine technology implementation, consulting for large projects and providing specific programs designed specifically for some of the largest companies in the world. 

Beyond business, Nathan also volunteers to assist in career building and job search for the underprivileged, focusing on his eventual end goal of solving international education problems, relying heavily on Elon Musk's Starlink project (which will use 4425 low orbiting satellites to provide 4g / 5g internet access for the first time to unpowered areas of the world) combined with further reduced costs of smartphones, beginning with his "Education of Africa" project.

Today, Nathan continues to help thousands of businesses and is widely seen as one of the top technology visionaries. 
EARLY LIFE
Nathan grew up in a small town in Oklahoma.  He graduated OU in business, but his true love was Classical Culture, studying extensively under Harvard doctorate J Rufus Fears.  


Nathan has been passionate about technology and it's effect on the world since he was 10 years old.

"I distinctly remember seeing these old AT&T commercials in the 90's while watching the Olympics with my parents.  The technology was so futuristic, and I was so certain AT&T would make a huge play in these arenas - but they didn't do any of it!  They clearly saw the future, and did nothing, eventually getting bought.  A lesson to all of us who don't want to end up like Blockbuster, I suppose."

CAREER
Nathan started in Telecommunications as the only person in the training class with no experience in the industry.  Further, his boss was new to the role and he was her first hire.  "I didn't care what I had to do, I was going to find a way to be successful and make sure they didn't regret hiring me."  He ended up being both rookie of the year and #1 nationally among hundreds of experienced professionals, quickly advancing his career.  "I don't know what it is, but once in a while you're just in this special place, where your entire focus is in one area.  This was where I was when I got that job.  I didn't start that job with an ambition to win those awards, I was just determined not to fail, and I just happened to end up being good at it, and it drove me to raise my expectations of both myself and my peers."

Giving Back
Nathan One's mission is focused on one end goal – education for those less fortunate. "I have a belief that the education system is broken. You have people that spend 12 years in school and come out not being able to be a productive member of society. Even most colleges still have to have their employees be trained and learn on the job. This isn’t right. What’s worse, there are large parts of the world who don’t even get that (such as extremely poor countries in Africa and Asia). My end game is to create a twitch.tv type program for education purposes, allowing our most inspiring educators to reach the underprivileged and change not only their lives, but the lives of their families and communities, forever." 
Closer to home, Nathan was inspired by his great uncle and grandfather's twin brother, Edgar Stone, missionary and founder of Mexican Missions, which has worked to educate communities in Mexico for over 50 years.  
PERSONAL LIFE
Nathan lives in Dallas, Texas in the Uptown area.  A self-diagnosed foodie and lover of red wine, his favorites include Kenny's Wood Fired Grill, Truluck's, and Nick & Sam's.

On the weekends, he is a regular at Four Day Weekend Comedy and other live performances.  He also enjoys Dallas Cowboy's Football, but is a Patriot's fan - "A Bill Belichick fan," he often says.
